ECo Raw Materials was founded to concentrate the activities in the slag processing of its partners Evers and Plambeck. In 2016, Plambeck took over the majority in the company.

The decades of experience of the partners in the treatment and recycling of recycled building materials as well as in the process for the treatment of contaminated soils forms the basis for the further development and optimization of the slag processing.

While conventional slags are discharged directly into the landfill or are increasingly restricted to road construction, the company group has been preparing the slags for several years in a dry process. By separating FE and non-ferrous metals, additional materials can be fed to a higher level of utilization.

Through the use of a patent-pending process technology, high environmental standards can be complied with in the wet-treatment process during the utilization of the "residual slag". This results in extensive advantages.
