In 1991, the LIGAR laboratory and engineering company for contaminated sites and recycling companies was founded by the Plambeck Holding. Since then, the company has been providing comprehensive services in the field of contaminated soil investigation and the assessment of the site.

The company supports builders and investors in the preparation and realization of their construction projects, clarifies soil and groundwater conditions, detects contaminants and assesses them concerning their potential hazards.

In the case of environmentally relevant construction and dismantling projects, the company works with the client to prepare the approval documents. Required expert opinions, e.g. UVUs are created by themselves or in cooperation with specialist offices.

On request, renovation concepts can be developed and sanitation measures accompanied until successful completion. In addition, the company's planning group is used for development, construction and planning, as well as for project control and construction management or construction supervision.

The company is a competent partner for all aspects of water / raw material exploration and extraction as well as for the development of day-care facilities.

The compilation of site plans, waste management concepts and the planning of waste treatment and disposal facilities is completed.

Mr. Schuppe, the long-standing CEO, took over the company in 2003 as part of a management buyout.
